7 months old

Holland is 7 months old today. WOW! She is doing so good. We have her 7 month photos with Dixie this week. I can't wait to see what she will do. It's amazing how fast babies change. Everyday there is something new. Her newest thing to do is to blow on her hand. She will move her hand back and forth to her mouth to feel the air. Happy 7th month birthday!

Sitting up

Here are some pictures of Holland sitting up for the first time for me. It looks like the pillow is behind her helping her sit up, but it's really a little bit behind her to catch her if she fell back. Since she started sitting up on her own, she sits in the highchair perfectly. It's amazing how fast babies learn.

First week of 2009

Holland had a great week! She is now just saying "dadadadadada" all the time. She said "mamamama" once, but I can't get her to do it again. She is sitting up on her own. I have a picture I will post later. Holland has now figured out how to scream her lungs out and totally loves it. She will scream and then just laugh and laugh. She also puts her hands and arms out to me when she wants me to pick her up or when she just wants to be held. Kirk had his 34th birthday. And, Kirk started his new work schedule. I think we are all going to like it. He works 4 days and is off 3 days in a row. Off to start another week..............

Happy Birthday Kirk!

Today is Kirk's 34th birthday. We aren't going to do anything too exciting. He woke up this morning to his gift............... gear for work. It's what he always asks for. I might have to pick up a little something from Olive Garden. He loves tiramisu, as do I.
